Earl Sweatshirt dropped a new song Chum on his Tumblr soaponmylawn today. The 18 year old Odd Future rapper released the track with little warning apart from a couple of tweets advertising ‘NU TREATS’ with a link to his previously sparsely used Tumblr.

The young lyricist raps over a simple but beautiful piano loop with unhurried pace, speaking autobiographically about his father leaving and his relationship with best friend Tyler the Creator (‘searching for a big brother, Tyler was that – plus he like how I rap’).
