This one’s been teased for a while now, and a lucky few in NYC were privy to a full version when Skepta handed out his Tim Westwood mixtape to random passersby, but finally you can listen to Skepta’s remix of Jamie xx’s Good Times in full, thanks to Annie Mac who named it her ‘hottest record in the world’ for this week.

Chatting to Annie in between a back-to-back play of the song, Jamie xx reveals that Skepta was initially approached to feature on the record, but instead requested that he remix it instead. Jamie xx also announced that The xx were back in the studio working on a new album, with recording wrapping up around Christmas.

Skepta pulled fellow Boy Better Know MC Frisco onto the track for this one, both laying down a verse each over Skepta’s sped up, trapped out beat. You can listen back over the interview with Annie Mac, as well as the full version of the Good Times (Remix), below.
