Listen: JMSN – ‘Cruel Intentions’

Drop after drop after drop

Posted by

It’s been over a year since we heard JMSN’s last album, Blue Album, but the Michigan artist has resurfaced with, what we believe will be, a smoother-than-ever sounding new album, titled, It Is. JMSN took a different marketing approach when it came to the release, asking fans to text his personal number if they wanted details. Not only did he reply with the title, image of the album cover and release date, but he also interacted with his fans on a personal level, answering all their questions. If this announcement wasn’t enough to satisfy the fans, he’s also dropped a single from it, just for good measure.

The track titled ‘Cruel Intentions’, is a soulful guitar led ballad, played by the man himself, accompanied by sax, violin, drums and a bunch of other instruments. They are all strung together to create a smooth sounding, bluesy concoction of R&B that we’re sure you’ll love.

The album is scheduled to drop on May 6, a day before his tour (which he also just announced!). Unfortunately you won’t be able to catch him in Australia just yet, but we’re staying hopeful, and in the meantime you can check out the song below.
