As A Tribe Called Quest get set to release the 25th anniversary edition of People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm, we get a taste of one of the remixes that will be included on the album, courtesy of Pharrell Williams. P puts his signature spin on the classic ‘Bonita Applebum’, which is sexy enough as it is but is definitely elevated thanks to Pharrell’s treatment – with particular thanks to some additional vocals towards the end of the song. The special edition album is currently available for pre-order via iTunes, which indicates that J.Cole will be jumping on a rework of ‘Can I Kick It?’ and Cee Lo Green will be adding his talents to ‘Footprints’.
