‘Collared Greens’ is about the smokable vegetation of which School Boy Q and Kendrick Lamar are avid fans. An upbeat homage to the chilled out substance, the song is off School Boy’s upcoming album Oxymoron. Fellow Black Hippy member Kendrick really makes the track his own when he comes in halfway through. Listen carefully and you will notice he drops in some spanish rhymes. Clearly, a large amount of ‘collared greens’ were consumed in that recording session.
