Adelaide-born artist, Strict Face, has emerged from the underground after dropping his first official track ‘Murderer’, under NLV records. You may have heard of the young riser from his instrumental works on Mr Mitch’s Gobstopper Records and Mumdance & Logos’s Different Circles label and his previous sampler track ‘Rouge Park’.

Strict Face has smashed the hip-hop music industry’s doors wide open after teaming up with Atlanta-based R&B vocalist K-Major. Strict Face says,”‘Murderer’ came together quite quickly after having the rough skeleton of the instrumental sitting on my hard drive for about a year – the rest of the tune happened pretty naturally: I whipped it up after getting over a creative block and sent Nina (Nina Las Vegas owner of NLV) a list of singers I wanted to work with.”

‘Murderer’ seems to be inspired by the Strict Face’s UK garage grime/synth-pop and R&B sounds with instrumental syncopated rhythm undertones, stabbing beats, and occasional drips.
