If you haven’t heard of The Underachievers then to put it simply, you are missing out.

The Brooklyn rap duo has been making waves with their kaleidoscopic beats and prophetic lyrics since 2011. Don’t worry though, they’re showing no signs of slowing down. Testament to this is the release of the lead single, “Incandescent,” from their upcoming album Cellar Door: Terminus Ut Exordium.

Staying true to their astral wordplay, the rappers teamed up with heavyweight producer, Ryan Hemsworth to deliver something comparably more sinister then their past work. The hard-hitting, aggressive lyrics coupled with Hemsworth’s menacing synths and deep trip beats makes for a pleasantly haunting track.
