The next 2 years plans to be very eventful for Lupe Fiasco fans. The Food and Liquor composer took to Twitter to announce not only a North American tour but also the release of three new studio projects within a 12-month span. The Twitter announcement comes just days after the revealing of his Winter 2017 release The Cool 2, the follow-up to his 2007 sophomore album, The Cool. The Chicago rapper shed some light on his next few projects, revealing his first treat will be named Drogas, which is Spanish for drugs. The release will be his sixth studio album, following Tetsuo & Youth, which was released at the beginning of 2015. Lupe dropped a hint that Drogas will feature a track called ‘Mural Jr.’, which from the emoji embedded tweet he believes is the flaming lyrical gift we’ve been waiting for. Although he didn’t take any questions, he did respond to Pitchfork stating “I will literally pay you guys thousands of dollars not to review them.”
Hopefully, we don’t get bamboozled like we were with LupEND. Check the tweets below.
