It’s a concept that comes up a lot in discussion of the rapper’s output, referring to his reliance on few people other than himself (and long-time producer Noah ’40’ Shebib) to bring his tracks to life. The multidisciplinary musician has a habit of spitting a verse, punctuating it with a hook sung by himself, and returning for more bars.
