Rico Nasty’s Nasty was one of our favourite albums of 2018, and now the New York born rapper is back with more Kenny Beats produced fire. The ‘Roof’ beat pulsates with bellowing 808s, sirens and a growling guitar sample. Rico Nasty is assertive and animated, dealing lines like “Countin’ blue faces, my favourite show Blues Clues.”

The just-dropped music video is set in a peculiar dystopian universe that we’re still wrapping our heads around. ‘Roof’ is assumed to be the first single off Rico’s new project with Kenny, in which he announced on Twitter last week (it was completed in only five days!).
