Robb Bank$’s new album Tha City dropped early yesterday morning on Hot New Hip Hop and is now available for your streaming and downloading pleasure. The new project features Raider Klan as well as production from Nuri and SpaceGhostPurrp, with guest appearances from Sir Michael Rocks and Loft 305.

Robb Bank$ is a menacing presence at the best of times. His lyrics are raw and upfront and make no attempt to spell out his critique on society and rap culture in general. Tha City features sounds borrowed from horror movies and manages to incorporate them into lo-fi trap while maintaining an accessible sound.

“Everybody is different. Everybody likes certain things,” Bank$ points out in an interview with Crossfire. “Me and Nuri, we’re talking about how no one’s going to understand the shit at first. People aren’t going to get it.”
