Perhaps you know Peanut Butter Wolf from his early days collaborating with his good friend (the late) rapper Charizma. Or maybe from his influence on the Los Angeles music scene with his record label Stones Throw, home to legends like Jonwayne, Arabian Prince, James Pants, Madvillain and so many more. I mean, damn, the label released J Dilla’s Donuts.

Peanut Butter Wolf did good things last time he was in Melbourne: he had people dancing on a balcony, spilling onto the staircase and into the foyer of The Forum for his Boiler Room set. He even kept it lowkey at The Curtin House’s Rooftop with friends and fans. Because he’s real like that.

Peanut Butter Wolf is headed back to Australia to play at the Red Bull Music Academy stage at Splendour in the Grass. He will also be playing some free shows as part of RBMA Presents in Melbourne and Sydney. Entry is free with RSVP, and you can find more info here.
