After dropping the aptly titled Booty Mix for Melbourne label The Homies‘ last month, Sydney house-hip-hop duo wordlife are up to no good again. Their debut EP Vision that drops today is all about sweating it out and tearing it up on a dance floor and features remixes from The Finger Prince, Teki Latex and Maelstrom. Get at it through details on their Facebook! But before you do, check out their SMALL TALK interview and the incredible, whirling and weird video for the title track by Paul Andrew Rhodes of Negative Films above.

My name is… Adam Bozzetto – one half of wordlife

I live in… Sydney

My EP is called… Vision

Some of the things that inspired it are… A lot of other people’s music, All Motorik Records and the samples Kato (the other half of wordlife) finds from comedy records and movie trailers that I have never heard of.

It’s cover art looks like… The Future…and kinda like an eye

My favourite track is…The title track Vision.

The person I can imagine listening to it is…Young kids in the club, broader minded techno-heads and house music guys that want to hear something new.

My favourite mixtape would include… Mostly hip hop. New and Old. Any thing from Fact Magazine.

When I’m not making music I… Clean the studio, go out to gigs. Watch films, buy lego. I’m the Production Coordinator at Heaps Decent.

The last thing I downloaded was… Goddess by Oisima, BBC’s Frozen Planet and 2 Chainz Birthday Song film clip.

The next project I’m working on is… A new solo EP, Collaboration with DJ Funk, Maelstrom and Sydney’s ‘Motorik’ family.
