SoundCloud has launched a new Australian homepage that includes a series of fresh playlists for fans in Australia, spotlighting the hottest rising artists and breakout stars that are bubbling up on the platform.

New playlists feature tracks from Australian artists that are powered by fans and handpicked by SoundCloud’s team of music experts – featuring the freshest in hip-hop to indie and alternative, electronic, and beyond including; Hot Aussie Hip-Hop: Fire, Aussie Electronic: Heat, Aussie R&B: Glow, Fresh Aussie Pop: Sugar, Aussie Indie: Dreamin’ and Fresh Pressed Australia— which includes new releases from a diverse range of breakout artists in Australia and around the globe championed by the community. It’s updated weekly with the latest releases featuring what’s new and hot in music.

SoundCloud’s homepage in Australia also features a series of exclusive artist-curated playlists including tracks that inspire them known as SELECTED BY The homepage currently features playlists from Australian artists like Masked Wolf, Hermitude, Sam Fischer and FLUME, with plenty more to come.

In addition to the new playlists, SoundCloud is joining forces with Acclaim Mag as the official DSP sponsor for the 2022 Acclaim All-Stars initiative and will work with Acclaim to select one ‘Wildcard’ winner to appear in the 2022 finals team.

The official 2022 Acclaim All-stars playlist is also highlighted on the AU homepage and is packed full of tracks from the 40 most exciting emerging local artists across hip-hop and R&B.
