R&B songstress Tinashe has been very busy lately—collaborating with Snakehips and Chance the Rapper, dropping music videos for a couple of her own singles, touring with Nicki Minaj, and posing for the pages of Playboy, among the recent highlights. It all makes sense, with the impending release of her new album Joyride, she’s going pretty hard on the promo trail.

Her latest magazine editorial comes in the form of an interview, photoshoot and video with Dazed magazine and we have to admit, it’s giving off some serious FKA Twigs vibes. Not that that’s a bad comparison at all but it’s definitely a departure from her usual athleisure aesthetic. She’s featured in intricate costumes, contorted body positions, and licking various things i.e. tiny toilets and lighter flames. She also talks comprehensively about her journey through fame
