We often hear Tyler, The Creator shouting out Melbourne in his raps, “land in Melbourne and skate to Fitzroy (Aye!),” but never did we think that our amazing city would be his favourite place ever. In a recent interview on BigBoy TV, Tyler discussed his current situation with Australia in relation to him being ‘banned’ and how much he loves coming here. It’s a pretty sad sentiment, even though he was never officially banned from entering Australia, his team felt strongly enough about it to cancel the entire Australian tour. Tyler also said that it’s highly unlikely that he can vacation here too.

I actually feel pretty bad for Tyler after watching this video, not being able to visit a place he loves because of music that he created when he was 18 is pretty rough. Watch the video in the gallery above, Tyler discusses Australia 14 minutes in.
