V9 has been steadily proving he’s one to watch in the UK Drill scene of late. The Deadpool-masked East London spitter dropped his debut EP Homerton Sensei last year and has recently followed up with a new body of work called Yudokuna, which features fellow Homerton artists Unknown T and KO. With early support from UK Rap staples Mad About Bars and Tim Westwood, it’s looking like a milestone year for V9 as his intense approach to the UK drill genre levels up.

To celebrate the release of his newest project, we caught up with V9 to get his take on the best artists from the East London scene right now.
