Kicking 2013 off with a bang, Kendrick swung by Paris to film the new visuals for the Hit-Boy-produced “Backseat Freestyle”. Co-directed by Jerome D, Dave Free, and Lamar himself, the clip paints a picture of K-Dot’s youth with appearances from “high as fuck” Papa Lamar and a booty-blessed Sherane, the recurring character from Kendrick’s critically acclaimed good kid, m.A.A.d city. Although he’s been hinting at an album-accompanying film, a publicist confirms that this video isn’t it. Take a look above.
