Schoolboy Q just blazed the stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live, performing his new single ‘Dope Dealer’ fresh off his latest album, the excellent Blank Face LP. The performance featured a guest appearance from West Coast hip-hop legend, E-40 who also features on the album cut of ‘Dope Dealer’.

It’s clear from this video that Q is enjoying his music more than ever. But let’s talk about how energetic and excitable the Compton MC looks. If you have him on Snapchat, then you would know this is due to the intense exercise regime he’s undertaking for his exhaustive Blank Face Tour.

He’s got a man-bun-repping, hipsterish PT who’s built like a brick shithouse and who’s probably got Q doing triathlons and benching dump trucks. But this is all for the best. Q is in the prime of his career and absolutely killing it. If anybody can get a predominantly middle-aged crowd on a Wednesday afternoon in Hollywood turnt up, then it’s this guy.
