Man, technology sure has come a long way. I mean, when Tupac made an appearance at last year’s Coachella festival, by way of a very impressive hologram, it was only a matter of time before we were treated to more posthumous rap performances. And with Rock The Bells going down over the weekend, crowds witnessed a pretty dynamic virtual performance by the late Eazy-E, alongside legendary rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Dropping the classic “Boyz in the Hood” and “Straight Outta Compton”, the crowd clearly did not care that they were watching a high-tech magic trick, turning all the way up during the medley of songs.
