Are they? Aren’t they? I had no idea there was a major issue still brewing between Lupe Fiasco and Kid Cudi but evidently Lupe still isn’t feeling Cudi. In a recent performance, Lupe dropped a freestyle for the audience, which included a line indicating he had ‘forgiven’ all his enemies but immediately followed it up with direct shot at the Kid.

“Except Kid Cudi cause that’s not my motherfuckin’ buddy / If I see him in the streets, it’s gon’ get motherfuckin’ ugly”.

To further confuse us all, it looks like Lu had a change of heart during the same set, saying “I’ma let that shit with fuckin’ Cudi go. I want you to let go of a grudge, let go of something that’s hanging over your head. Don’t terrorise yourself thinking about what you’re going to do and what somebody has done to you.”

Neither rapper has really addressed the verses online at all, so it could just be another one of those obscure tangents Lupe likes to go on, but we’ll keep a close eye on those tweets for any developments. In the meantime, check out some of the fan-shot footage above.
