Nas took the stage at media-saturated megafestival Coachella to take us through all of debut Illmatic, from the first “Straight from the dungeons of rap,” to the last “Nas’ raps should be locked in a cell, it ain’t hard to tell.”

The iconic rapper also welcomed Jay Z onto stage to play his Nas-sampling ‘Dead Presidents’. But Nas kept their diplomacy intact, declining to try to ether him with diss track ‘Ether’.
