If you haven’t figured it out already, this is going to be the year of Outkast. One of their first festival appearances will be at Hangout Festival in May, alongside Wiz Khalifa among others. The Taylor Gang rapper sat down with MTV Rap Fix Live recently to share his view on performing on the same bill as his childhood idols and what his fondest memories of the duo were. Funnily enough, Wiz’s mum was apparently a bigger Outkast fiend than he was as a kid, as most of his memories and influence came from borrowing her CDs. Aw, bless.
