A New Place 2 Drown is an eerily compelling insight into the life of Archy Marshall AKA King Krule and his brother Jack Marshall. The short film directed by Will Robson-Scott (the man behind the short documentary Chiraq) features Archy, his mother, and his brother, who discuss their upbringing and their similar creative outlooks.

The film also takes a peak into the Marshalls’ music/art studio, his friends (peep UK rappers Rejjie Snow and Jesse James Solomon), and his beautiful ominous poetry. A New Place 2 Drown is accompanied by a book and soundtrack under the same title, the book showcases the poetry and artwork created by the two brothers, as well as their social and home lives in South London. The soundtrack is created by Archy and is out now.
