Emoji users, unite! Twitter has now made your favourite icons viewable on its website. The move has allowed the cartoon icons to not only annoy people from phones, but via Twitter.com too.

So say goodbye to drab, empty squares, and hello to some familiar faces, including the turban guy, the salsa-dancing lady, funny ghost and many more.

Emojis aren’t supported in tweets that are embedded on websites, so don’t fret if you can’t see them.

As the site makes more changes replicating those of a certain other social media giant, *cough* Facebook *cough*, perhaps we will see Emojis obtain their own place as stickers. Or maybe I’m wishing for too much.
