adidas is really bringing back the ’90s with the re-release of the iconic Gazelle

With a style shoot featuring some of today's brightest young talents

When we first got a glimpse of adidas’s forthcoming Gazelle re-release, we knew we were in for a nostalgic ride. ICYMI, they teased the new era of Gazelles with a modern-day mash-up of the original Kate Moss campaign, with slogans that included “Nothing is sacred”. But you don’t have to worry about the team stepping too far outside your comfort zone because the iconic adidas Gazelle is, indeed, back but it retains its classic silhouette and quality materials (hello vintage suede).

The editorial campaign, however, is a perfect clash of old and new, with the Three Stripes recruiting some of today’s Kate Moss equivalents—the young talents who have become the poster boys and girls for their respective subcultures—and putting them in some classic ’90s-inspired style. We’re not mad, we just want every single outfit. The shoot features the likes of Pro Era’s Kirk Knight, skater Tyshawn Jones, and singer Selah Marley (daughter of another ’90s icon, Lauryn Hill, no less), among others. Check out some of the fresh images above and head to adidas online for all your Gazelle needs.
