Following their epic runway production at Pitti Uomo earlier this year, adidas Originals and White Mountaineering presented their Summer 2017 range at Paris Fashion Week recently. The showcase was decidedly more traditional this time around but the garments were anything but. Continuing with the strong geometric motif, the collection fuses the three-stripes and mountain-inspired graphics perfectly.
Yosuke Aizawa’s influence is strong in this collaboration, never one to blend in with the status quo, creating distinctly bold looks that are intended to be rocked on the daily. Of course, prime materials are used throughout the collection—think Gore-tex, Primeknit, and reflective panels—making it as functional as it is fashionable. On top of the great active and outerwear choices, the two brands have lent their aesthetics to select footwear styles, including the ever-popular NMD and EQT silhouettes.
