Converse has teamed up with Los Angeles creative brand Babylon for a new footwear and apparel collection. For those unaware, Babylon is the brainchild of LA hardcore band, Trash Talk and is designed to give local kids the opportunity to express their creativity and build connection with other like-minded individuals. Given Babylon also acts as a retail space and art gallery, it’s no surprise they would team up with Converse for something that pinpoints expression, creativity, youth spirit and youth culture.
This exciting Converse x Babylon line blends the unique styles of both brands to create apparel and footwear that is both clean and refined.
The line includes the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Babylon footwear. This comes with the traditional Chuck II silhouette as well as Babylon script logo embroidery along the heel, a screen print “peace sign” logo on the upper, as well as a textured toe cap emblazoned with Babylon script.
The apparel line also features short and long sleeve tees, as well as a fleece popover. All pieces feature original Babylon graphics and Converse brand markings.
The collection is available from today and can be found exclusively at www.converse.com.au, Converse Emporium, Capsule, Up There Store and Supply Store. Happy shopping, folks!
