People who have never worn Converse shoes are like people who have never watched an episode of The Simpsons, or like people who only listen to the radio: you know there’s something wrong with them, but you can’t quite figure it out. Converse have been a youth culture fixture for generations now and that’s why we’re hyped that they brought out their CONS 2013 Sneaker Collection, re-releasing kicks that take cues from ’90s street style. Shoes being thawed from cryogenic stasis are the Converse CONS Anarchy, the Star Player Plus, and, what I’m most amped for: the Converse CONS AeroJam. All silhouettes revamped with modern materials and colourways.

The release was celebrated last Tuesday with a party in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with performances from RATKING and ATL’s Trinidad Jame$.

Converse CONS Ambassadors Harry Fraud, Phony Ppl, RATKING and Dee and Ricky, rapper Adrian Lau and Chef Eddie Huang were also in attendance.

You can cop the range exclusively from Foot Locker, Foot Action, and Champs.
