To mark the occasion of the US’ Memorial Day on May 26, Converse have released a limited edition pair of Chuck Taylors. They have taken the classic ’70s sneaker and recrafted and modernised it for the occasion, creating the Vintage Flag Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70.

Seeking inspiration from the US flag, the sneakers will feature two different designs for each shoe. The left will have an all-over star print, while the right will have an all-over bar pattern. As a fun alternative to the traditional sneaker, the sneakers with also have three interchangeable red, white and blue shoe laces. The shoes will also include the vintage license plate and nickel eyelets, adding to the vintage feel.

There will only be 1,300 pairs of these Vintage Flag Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70s made available globally. They will be made available exclusively at selected General Pants stores and the Converse Flagship Melbourne Central store as of Friday May 23, so get at them while you can.
