Bringing an unmistakably post-modern flavour to the mix, Italian designer Cleto Munari commissioned a collective of world-renowned architects to design over 150 pieces of wearable jewellery between 1982-86, for Barbara Radice’s ‘Jewellery by Architects’ (I feel u Barbara titles are the hardest part).

Featuring some of the biggest names of the day including Robert Venturi, Peter Eisenman, Arata Izozaki and Hans Hollein the collection makes for some satisfying viewing with bold form, ingenious detail and strong use of precious stones and metals lending the series a timeless quality, seeing every piece slip just as comfortably into the cultural landscape of 2015 as it would’ve in 1983.
