Givenchy’s creative director Riccardo Tisci has always been indulgent in injecting his personal obsessions into the brand’s aesthetics and fusing both elements seamlessly. Religion is the central theme for Spring 2013, featuring images of Madonna (not the pop star) and the Virgin Mary, front and centre on bomber jackets and hospital scrub-styled tee shirts. This satin and jersey sweatshirt is one of the offerings for Spring 2013, which features a subdued Madonna print on black with appliquéd stars. The collar features a ribbed waistband, also used on the cuffs, cut oversized for a relaxed fit.
