HUF drop their own range of Japanese souvenir jackets

The skate label offers up an auspicious new collection

Posted by

From ornate dragon illustrations seen in the  Yohji Yamamoto x Adidas 14 collection and Junya Watanabe x Comme des Garçons dragon-cloud contrast designs to trashy/ high fashion giants Versace and Dolce and Gabbana; dragon-heavy themes are successfully recurring in capsule and ready-to-wear collections. The strength, wisdom, and assumable force-for-good the dragon represents undoubtedly carries well with major brands and fashion fiends alike.

Now HUF, the skate brand more commonly known for their graphic print tees, are the latest label to release a dragon-inspired seven-piece capsule collection, taking cues from vintage WW2-era Japanese souvenir jackets (Sukajan), timelessness and modern imagination contrasted by material tradition.

The collection features traditional Japanese rayon thread embroidered dragon-sky art work on classic modern apparel from monochromatic hoodies to long sleeve tees. To check out the collection view our gallery above or head to Pacsun, where the drop is exclusively available.
