Kenzo is H&M’s latest designer collaboration

"We will invite all the customers and fans to the real Kenzo world"

The world went into meltdown after H&M’s collab with Balmain #HMBalmaination, so we’re warning you now to pack your end of the world kit, because H&M has announced their new guest designer, Parisian label Kenzo. Don’t worry, you still have time because the collection isn’t dropping until November 3, but we’re already hyped for the collection Kenzo described as focussing on “creativity, fun and love of fashion”.

The Autumn/Winter collection will feature clothing and accessories for men and women. Creative Directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have described the collaboration as one that pushes “the boundaries and bring the new energy of Kenzo to everyone around the world”.

Leon says, ”We wanted to really tell the story of the brand and of us. Together with H&M, we will invite all the customers and fans to the real Kenzo world.”

“At the end of the day, the product has to be amazing and people have to want to buy it and wear it—not just for the story, but for how it looks on. People nowadays have so many options for what they want to wear and how they want to express themselves and that’s great.”

I think it’s safe to say there will be sweatshirts with their iconic tiger faces and a whole lot of colour. When asked about their fascination with every single colour, Leon replied, “It’s just a matter of when the best moment is to release it into the world. All of them—their time will come”. Judging by the above glimpse, we’re guessing that time is now.
