When it’s time for Jeremy Scott to design a new pair of JS Wings, and he’s immersed in a crowd of dancing twentysomethings looking for a little inspiration, his mind obviously wanders toward the amount of money he’s about to make off releasing another pair of the coveted kicks. That’s evident by the allover print introduced on the new version of the adidas JS wings. Having already done silver, black patent leather and rainbow cotton candy uppers, Jeremy continues reinterpreting bad late-’90s trends by introducing a dollar-bill print to the newest pair. But this isn’t average American currency. Jeremy Scott’s face can be found where George Washington’s would usually be. It’s now safe to say Jeremy Scott is fashion’s most visible designers, as if he weren’t already.
