Creeper shoes are not a new entity in fashion, but they have been revitalised by Prada when they introduced a modern, trendier version of it in their Spring 2011 collection. Now, many fashion labels are introducing their own version of the creeper shoe, and menswear favourite Mark McNairy, has released their version of the creeper shoe for Spring/Summer 2013.
Engaging the deisgn efforts of Kazuki Kuraishi‘s retail outlet Heather Grey Wall, both have collaborated on a run of creeper shoes, combining quality materials and traditional design techniques with modern updates. The result is a handsome shoe adorned with a premium suede upper, D-ring lace system, contrasting leather welt and an ultra comfy white Vibram Christy Morflex wedge sole. The shoe comes in two colourways: grey/pink and navy/yellow and is available here.
