Nigo has teamed up with Ratking and adidas Originals again for a second collection of NYC inspired apparel and sneakers. Following the success of Nigo’s Fall/Winter collaboration with adidas Originals their second collaboration is a mixed bag Spring/Summer range inspired by vintage street style of New York City. This collection shows that Nigo’s love for classic adidas and 80’s New York City rap has not faded. The range heavily features the adidas logo as well as Nigo’s signature bear graphic on a number of classic adidas styles, which have been paired with new colourways of the classic adidas Campus 80s.
For the lookbook Nigo enlisted rap group Ratking to play models for a second time. Returning to the streets of New York City with photographer Ari Marcopoulos to create a lookbook that embodies the style and spirit of the streets which Nigo tried to capture with the collection.
The adidas Originals By Niko Spring/Summer 2015 collection will be released in select retailers on February 1.
