Rihanna stays winning this weekend, with the unveiling of her new apparel collection with Puma. Staging a dramatic New York Fashion Week show, as expected, Ri enlisted some of fashion’s most Instagrammable models—Gigi and Bella Hadid, Stella Maxwell, and co—to showcase her equally as Instagrammable athleisure range. We got a bit of taste of her vibe and preferred silhouette in the last year or so, with the Puma Suede Creepers she released last year, as well her personal aesthetic of mixing baggier outerwear and denim with her usual slinky, form-fitting dresses and tops. The Fenty x Puma range is definitely a darker take on sportswear, with exaggerated outerwear silhouettes coupled with a lot of daring crops, high-waisted or high-cut bottoms, and gothic lettering across some of the more ‘traditional’ sportswear items. There were fits for both boys and girls, but we all know how good Ri is at giving the ladies something to really turn heads in. It has Badgal (figuratively) written all over it and is definitely expected to burn holes through the pockets of Rihanna’s fashion faithful.
