Kanye West’s return to the fashion industry has been highly speculated for a minute and his latest venture, a capsule collection with French brand A.P.C, is finally here for us all to judge. The drop features some basic streetwear silhouettes, in the form of tees, hoodies and jeans. Contrary to his personality, Kanye’s take on these staple pieces is pretty understated – all the colourways are simple white, grey and blues, with a couple of prints thrown in for fun (note the inclusion of Been Trill on one of the styles). There are some subtle plays on proportion, with some wide necklines, longer length tees and jeans that are baggy and skinny at the same time.

The collection images confirm the rumours that Kanye was, in fact, wearing the pieces in a few recent street snaps and now I am sure that there will be a few more emulating the “Steve [Jobs] of internet, downtown, fashion, culture”.
