For The Homies have shared their first piece from their Autumn/Winter 2016 collection, which is a reversible souvenir jacket paying homage to two of hip-hop’s finest MCs, Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac.

This custom collaboration with Japanese designer Akeem the Dream and is a hip-hop fiend’s take on a Japanese “SukaJan” style garment. The reversible souvenir jacket is made of black and gold toned silk satin and fully embroidered panels and features the faces and signatures of the two rap legends on the front and back. The design is said to symbolise not only the conflict that was seen between the east and west coast of America, during the rappers’ reign, but also the conflicts between eastern and western culture on a more global scale.
