Footage of a giant Nike Free Flyknit being knitted onto a Shanghai billboard has been released as part of Nike’s new campaign for the shoe. The video shows the two-dimensional sneaker knitted onto the billboard by four installation professionals over a 10-day period. The interactive billboard was devised by Shanghai advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy, intended to reveal the ‘second skin’ sensation of the shoes.
