Last week the ACCLAIM team made the pilgrimage to Sydney for a very special sneak preview of some of the stuff that Oakley has got going on as part of their #INRESIDENCE program. On arrival we were lucky enough to link with Sean Malto, Curren Caples, and Atiba Jefferson for a leisurely lunch overlooking Bondi beach. After we finished up we headed to the studio hub for the In Residence program for an early view at the amazing ‘Destination Sydney’ exhibition, a group show between renowned skate photographers Atiba Jefferson, Mike O’Meally, and young gun Andrew Peters.

The show is comprised of the three artists impressions of Sydney as a world renowned skate destination, with images dating back to ’96 that reveal sides of Sydney that have disappeared over the years as the city has evolved. We wrapped the evening with the official launch party in the space, featuring tunes courtesy of the Halfway Crooks legends, and beers on behalf of Budweiser. Check out how it all went down in the gallery above, and don’t forget to head to Oakley for a full rundown of all the events they have running as part of the In Residence initiative.
