Weekly updates

If you go visit @NikeStore on Twitter and look at the @tags on their posts, you’ll find the tireless crusading of a sneaker head who is THIRSTY AS HELL for the Nike Flyknit racer ‘Oreo’ and the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Cork’ releases. Someone must have once told the dude that persistence is key because he’s been at the brand’s throat trying to beat the retail queue on his favourite releases for the better part of this month.

That sneaker head’s name is Charles Henderson AKA @est1991_  AKA Shoe Dealer, and he posts comments like:

Nike2

Or:

NIke1

And even wondering:

Nike3

Whoever runs the @NikeStore account took notice of @est1991_’s endearing trolling and obviously thought something along the lines of, “well shit, if he wants corks and Oreos so bad, why not give them to him?” So they did.

To pull off the prank, @NikeStore found the email attached to his Twitter account, and used it to find @est1991_’s address via his Nike profile. While that creepy method shows that people at Nike can track down anyone they fancy on Twitter, it’s also some damn fine detective work.

Just for those who like a happy ending, he even managed to get his hands on the Flyknit Racers after all the publicity.
