Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, makes an appearance on radio show Sway In The Morning in NYC to spit a freestyle verse over one of Nothing Was The Same’s most acclaimed tracks, ‘Pound Cake’. While the rapper has been keeping pretty low-key recently, he’s not shy when it comes to this verse, addressing everything from why peers Chance and Kendrick have made millions and he hasn’t, how important money actually is and whether or not he’s dating Jhene Aiko. I have to admit, these are some pretty solid bars and are sure to change some opinions about the dude’s position in rap. Maybe. In any case, it’s definitely worth a listen.

Gambino’s upcoming solo album, Because The Internet, will be dropping on December 10.
