Announcement: To all Star Wars nerds and intergalactic haters of Lucas’ sub-standard prequels. We get another chance at diggin’ some potentially more amazing Star Wars awesomeness. J.J. Abrams will direct the next Star Wars film for Disney, taking stewardship of one of Hollywood’s most iconic and bankable film franchises. The creator or co-creator of  TV franchises like Lost, Fringe and Alias and director of films such as Mission: Impossible III and Star Trek has frankly got his work cut out for him. He has been teamed with Little Miss Sunshine’s screenwriter Michael Arndt and I’m not entirely convinced that he’s the right person for the job. But I guess time will tell…
