Graphic artist and Hawaii native Jasper Wong has returned to his home state to give back to the community yet again and contribute even more to the local art scene. His latest exploit is the store-sized colouring book ‘Little Shop of Wonder’. Walls of the store are coated in black and white stencils, ripe and ready for visitors to colour in to their heart’s content.
As the creator and lead director of POW WOW HAWAII – a non-profit organisation of contemporary artists committed to community enrichment through the creation of art outreach programs, educational programs and engaging the community in the creation and appreciation of art – Wong has contributed greatly to Hawaii’s rich art culture.
