On Monday, Instagram rebelled against Kylie Jenner and a photograph of daughter Stormi, the app’s most-liked post. That is, until a certain speckled brown egg came along. Said egg racked up close to 44 million likes in just under 48 hours, snatching the crown.
But there’s another egg in town: a Burberry egg. Yesterday, the British fashion house posted an image of a white egg to its Instagram, teasing the release of SS19 collection. The collection is to be the first by Burberry’s newly appointed chief creative officer, Riccardo Tisci (formerly of Givenchy). While its likes have a way to go until it breaks any records, the Burberry egg has amassed just over 40k in the past 24 hours.
