Just when you thought it was safe to leave the couch, the latest update to Grand Theft Auto V goes live.

Focussing on excess and conspicuous consumption, there’s a lot to sink your teeth into with the High Life update. The new content includes the following: five new apartments to buy, a host of new vehicles, eight new contact missions and a new weapon – the Bullpup rifle.

Along with these additions, megalomaniacal players can now own two properties at the same time.

Players now also have a ‘mental state’ stat, which updates dynamically to reflect their actions in-game. The crazier your behaviour, the redder your blip on the minimap becomes.

On top of all this, there are now non-contact races (to keep your ride pristine) and new player toasts, celebrations and clothing options, along with a brand new friend spectate mode.
