Consistency would have to be McDonalds’ biggest drawcard, it doesn’t matter where you are on the planet, there’s a probably one right around the corner, and a BigMac will still be a BigMac. I’m Loving It!™ That said, the global Maccas market is a competitive one, with most countries wanting to appease themselves that their local is better than the US standard.

Ray Williams, host and producer of Hostile Living: Adventure Travel is probably more qualified than most to comment on this, having made a point of eating at over 30 Mcdonalds restaurants across the globe. Williams for his part, told Business Insider he places Thai Maccas in top spot for the following reasons:

1. You can double pretty much any burger on the menu “That’s four patties in some cases,” he says.

2. Samurai pork burgers– pork patty, teriyaki sauce, lettuce and mayonnaise are famously delicious.

3. The menu includes local favourites like pork porridge and chicken, egg and rice.

4. McDonalds in Thailand has better desserts than other countries including hot pineapple pies and cheesecake.

5. 24-hr home delivery (sold)
