We went down to Butter in Sydney this Wednesday for a mid-week turn up, to mark the release of the limited edition Hennessy collab with artist Vhils. Lots of familiar faces came down to celebrate, including some international guests, no one special really—just freakin RZA and Raekwon from the legendary Wu Tang Clan! RZA hijacked the decks while Rae poured some Hennessy for party attendees and we’re still pinching ourselves about it.

Butter head chef and co-founder Julian Cincotta was serving up southern fried chicken with his very own Hennessy BBQ sauce with vanilla notes and hints of apple. I’m no food critic, but I’ll back up Julian’s claim that the sweetness “complements the chicken and spice in the sauce to perfection.” This is where I’d kiss my fingers like a chef if I could. There were even cherry-cola Henny slushies!
